Ionian Islands, Greece Insights – Living Aboard

Refrigeration – We had a standard marine refrigerator that worked reasonably well. I was able to make ice for sundowners.

Greece2007-090Fishing –Brian our British friend had a lot of success catching really tasty fish to supplement our provisions. We caught enough for a main course one night. Lisa was also able to prepare some incredible sushi rolls and cerviche appetizers. As usual, Marcello did a great job gathering sea urchin (itl – ricci)

Water, trash, & fuel – Water tanks were filled in Levkas while topping up diesel and at Astakou on the mainland (we had to wake the old man who controlled the water concession at the dock from an afternoon nap). Trash was easily disposed of in all inhabited bays.
